Michael Fors Olson

Michael Olson ( born June 29, 1966 in Park Ridge, Illinois) is a bishop of Fort Worth.

Life

Olson received on 3 June 1994, the sacrament of Holy Orders. In 2011, he received his doctorate at the Accademia Alfonsiana in Rome in moral theology.

On November 19, 2013, Pope Francis appointed as Bishop of Fort Worth. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of San Antonio, Gustavo Garcia- Siller MSPs, on 29 January 2014. Were co-consecrators the Bishop of Orange in California, Kevin William Vann, and Archbishop Emeritus of Galveston - Houston, Joseph Anthony Fiorenza.
