Michael Lang (producer)

Michael Lang ( born December 11, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American music producer.

Long organized in the 1960s some great music festivals such as the Miami Pop Festival in 1967 with artists such as Jimi Hendrix or Blue Cheer. In order to give the then social movements a mouthpiece, he organized in August 1969 with Artie Kornfeld, the legendary Woodstock Festival.

Just Sunshine Records

With his record label, Just Sunshine Records, which was long and he led, he published more than 40 music albums by artists such as Billy Joel and Bob Dylan. In addition, he was also the manager of Joe Cocker or Rickie Lee Jones.

Today
