Michael Tørnes

Michael Elvers Tørnes ( born January 8, 1986 in Herlev ) is a Danish football goalkeeper. He currently plays for the Danish first division club Brøndby IF.

Career

Michael Tørnes started to play football in the youth department of Herlev IF. Then he went to the youth department of Farum BK. In 2003 he went to the youth department of Lyngby BK, where he also played in the first team. Only a year later he went to Brønshøj Boldklub. Yet another year later he went to Copenhagen suburb club Brøndby IF. In 2006 he was promoted to the first team. His first game for the pros, he made but only on 25 October 2009, when he was in the starting lineup in the match against Aalborg BK - Superligæn.

Tørnes is a former U- national team of Denmark.
