In its first three years of the FC Nordsjælland was indeed consistently top notch, but they found themselves in the bottom half of the table again. As Morten Wieghorst 2006 took over the post of the coach, should steadily follow an improvement. His first season as an FCN coach, he finished with a rank in the first nine. For many experts, this was a blip, but it should not stick to it. Morten Wieghorst, who worked with the CEO and the Director of Sport, ensured a steady increase. 2010 and 2011 they won the Danish Cup respectively, both times each against FC Midtjylland. 2011 Wieghorst left the team. The team is enhanced, inter alia, with the Danish international Mikkel Beckmann and Patrick Mtiliga and with a few talents from our own offspring, one of which was the later national team Jores Okore. After a moderate start from the first three games ( two losses, one draw ), the FCN came back on track, as they won twelve of the next 15 games with a view to the end of the first round came in second place in the table. In the second half there was a long duel with the league leaders FC Copenhagen, which could defeat the fifth- last game 1-0. The FC Nordsjælland was thus the leader. By the end of the season the team has not this have repaid, so the club from Farum won the Danish championship in the 2011/12 season and celebrated the biggest success in club history.
