Michal Broš

Michal Bros ( born January 25, 1976 in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Sparta Prague from the Extraliga since 2008.

Career

Michal Bros began his career in 1995 when HC Olomouc, for whom he played two years in the Czech Extraliga. During the NHL Entry Draft 1995 Bros was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the fifth round to 130 place, but remained with his hometown club. In 1997 he moved to HC Vsetín, with whom he won the 1998 Czech Championship. In 1999, he played six seasons for HC Sparta Prague, with whom he was in 1999, 2000 and 2002 Czech Master. During the NHL Expansion Draft 2000 Bros was selected by the Minnesota Wild, but not arrested again under contract. After these successes, he signed in 2005 a contract with Kärpät Oulu in the Finnish SM- liiga, where he increased his points total from year to year and at the end of the season 2006/ 07 won the Finnish championship. A year later he was able to repeat this success with his teammates. After this success, he returned to the Czech Republic and was taken from the HC Sparta Prague under contract.

Internationally

Michal Bros was able to convince international title fights alongside his successes at club level: For the Czech national team he has so far completed two World Championships, winning the gold medal in 2000. A total of 47 countries Bros has played more games in which he scored three goals.
