Micki Meuser
Micki Meuser (real name: Hans Georg Meuser ) is a German film composer, record producer and bassist.
Meuser lives in Berlin and is a composer of numerous film scores for film and television, as well as producer of some famous German artist. He is first chairman of the German film composer DEFKOM Union and the Board of the DKV.
Life
With the jazz-rock group Out ( Theo Jörgensmann, Hendrik Schaper and Udo Dahmen ) Meuser had 1976 first national success. After he was playing bass in Cologne and Hamburg active in various studios and jazz bands, he played bass on the 1977 Charlie Mariano album October. In 1977 he was hired as a studio musician for an album with Ina Deter, resulting in a long-term cooperation should arise.
In 1978 he produced his first album as a producer / music director with the artist Bettina Wegner for the record company CBS. The album itself placed the same in the top 20 of the German charts. There were other albums produced by Meuser with Ina Deter ( " New Men brauchts the country" ) and the band Ideal (Bi Nuu ).
At the same time Meuser worked with his own band Nervous Germans, for whom he composed two albums, produced and played bass.
1984 sparked Meuser on the Nervous Germans and launched with the Australian Nervous Germans singer Grant Stevens, the duo " The Window Speaks". Moreover followed another successful album productions with The Doctors ( In the Shadow of doctors), Invisible Limits, Flatsch, Rodgau monotones and Silly ( " Bataillon d' Amour ," 1986)
1989 Meuser wrote the call sign for the WDR 1 and 2, and for the Belgian broadcasting.
From 1990, followed album productions and songwriting for Herwig Mitteregger ( Spliff ), The Lassie Singers, The Lemon Babies, Beautiful Blonde, Jürgen Marcus and Heike Makatsch.
As of 1993, Meuser spent more and more on the recording industry and changed its focus on instrumental and film scores. Under the project name " SonicAmbience " he published in 1994 three CDs with instrumental music in the New Age style, used in USA resonance. In 1996, the music for the German / French / German film production obsession. In 1999, the music for the movie Mystery Deeply. In the years 2000/2001 the music for the first and only season followed ( 13 episodes) of the American- Canadian TV series " MythQuest ".
In the following years the music productions took further from to ( albums with Microphone Mafia, headphones, Stella Ahangi, Silke Frost ) and film music. 2003 and 2004, Meuser wrote the music for two seasons of the series Pro7 What does not fit is made to fit. It was followed by numerous pieces of music for TV movies like " anteroom to hell 1-3 ", " father out of the blue ", " A Summer in Cape Town ", " A Summer in Scotland " (all ZDF) and for the Blue and White stories.
Meuser is currently writing another film scores mainly for ZDF. He is also actively involved in associations and political work. Since 2010 he has been Deputy Chairman of the Professional Association for Media musician mediamusic eV, since 2011 Chairman of the DEFKOM ( German film composer Union). In the creative economy initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economics, he works for the interests of music authors.
Trivia
- Composed for the Football World Cup 1982 in Spain and he produced under the alter ego The line judge the song Olé Alemania based on a bassline by Grandmaster Flash. Later he composed a modified version for the German football club Alemannia Aachen.
