Mike Mazurki

Mike Mazurki ( born December 25, 1907 in Tarnopol, Austria - Hungary, † December 9, 1990 in Glendale, California; born as Mikhail Mazurkevych ) was a Ukrainian- burly American actor.

Life

Mike Mazurki, born in what was then Austria- Hungary, and is now in Ukraine belonging Tarnopol, emigrated with his family at the age of 6 years from the United States. His first work performed as a professional wrestler in the heavyweight division remained Mazurki in its recorded from the 1940s acting career arrested in which he often boxers and powerful gangster represented what was due not least to its size of 1.96 meters. Mazurki played in the film noirs Murder, My Sweet and The Rat Soho supporting roles and was in westerns and adventure movies like Sinbad the Sailor and The Charlatan to see. He became known as a stooge of George Raft in Billy Wilder's classic comedy Some Like It Hot.

Until recently, he appeared in over 150 film and television shows over half a century to spread. His first marriage with Jeanette Briggs had held from 1943 to 1950, the second marriage with Sylvia Weinblatt held from 1968 until Mazurkis death. His marriage to Janette Briggs two children came. Although he used the image of the dumb henchman on the canvas, he owned since 1930, a bachelor's degree of the Manhattan College.
