Mikkel Morning Star Pålssønn Diskerud ( born October 2, 1990 in Oslo, Norway ) is a partially US-American -born Norwegian football player. The Norwegian-born defender played for both Norwegian youth teams as well as for the United States.

Birth and childhood

Diskerud was born in 1990 as a child coming from Arizona US- American mother and a Norwegian father in Oslo. He grew up there too.

Diskerud began his career as a footballer in the youth of Frigg Oslo FK. During a tournament in Oslo, he was spotted by Stabæk Fotball and followed in 2005 in the youth team of the club.
