Miloslav Hořava (ice hockey b. 1982)

Miloslav Hořava ( born October 27, 1982 in Kladno, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Ocelari Třinec in the Czech Extraliga since November 2011. His father Miloslav Hořava senior was also a professional hockey player. His cousin Pavel Skrbek played for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League.

Career

Miloslav Hořava began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of the Swedish professional clubs MODO Hockey, in which he was active from 1999 to 2001. He then played for four years in his Czech hometown for HC Kladno of the Extraliga, where he for the league rivals HC Energie Karlovy Vary and HC Berounsti Medvědi came in parallel in the first second-rate league used. From 2005 to 2007, the winger played for his former club MODO Hockey in the Elitserien and was with the team in the season 2006/ 07 Swedish Champion.

The 2007/08 season at Severstal Cherepovets Hořava spent in the Russian Super League.
