Minuscule 87

Minuscule 87 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), CL22 ( von Soden ), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 231 parchment leaves ( 36.5 × 25.7 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 11th century. The manuscript is complete.

Description

The manuscript contains the text of the Gospel of John with a Katene. He has written one column each with 22-23 rows. The manuscript contains Prolegomena, Eusebische tables Synaxarion and images.

History

The handwriting was as minuscule 129 Nicholas of Cusa. She came from Konstantin Opel and came to Trier.

She was examined by Balthasar Cordier, Bernard de Montfaucon, Johann Jakob Wettstein and Johann Martin Augustin Scholz. 1884 Gregory sought after this manuscript in Trier and cues, but could not find them.
