Minuscule 94

Minuscule 94 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), O31 ( von Soden ), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 328 parchment and paper sheets ( 24.3 × 18 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 12th and 13th centuries. The manuscript is complete.

Description

The manuscript contains the text of the New Testament except the Gospels. The order of the books is: Acts, Catholic Epistles, Pauline Epistles ( Hebrews, 1 Timothy ) and Revelation of John.

He was one column each with 22 lines written (38 rows for comment ). The manuscript contains scholia on Acts and letters, Prolegomena to the letters of Paul and Andreas ' commentary on the Apocalypse.

Text

Kurt Aland placed a Greek text of this codex in category III; " The Pauline letters and the Apocalypse, however, are clearly among them ." According to David Alan Black, it represents the Alexandrian text-type in the Apocalypse.

History

The manuscript was acquired by Pierre Séguier ( 1588-1672 ).

She was examined by Bernard de Montfaucon, Johann Jakob Wettstein, and Henri Omont. Herman C. Hoskier collated the text of the Apocalypse.

The code is located in the Bibliothèque nationale de France ( Coislin Gr. 202.2 ) in Paris.
