Minuscule 96
Minuscule 96 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), ε 514 ( von Soden ), is a Greek of the New Testament Minuskelhandschrift to 66 sheets of paper ( 13.5 × 9.5 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 15th century. It is not exhaustive.
Description
The manuscript contains the text of John's Gospel with a gap ( 18.18 to 34 ). He has written one column with 18 rows. The manuscript contains κεφαλαια (Latin ).

It lacks the pericope Jesus and the woman taken in adultery (Jn 7,53 EU-8, 11 EU).
History
The manuscript was written by Johannes Trithemius († 1516), abbot of the monastery in Sponheim. It later belonged Achates Cornarius († Kreuznach 1573). In 1607 she gave Abraham Scultetus in Heidelberg an Englishman named George Hackwell, which they donated to the Oxford University.
She was examined by James Ussher ( Walton ), John Mill, Johann Jakob Griesbach and Konstantin von Tischendorf.
