Miravete de la Sierra

Miravete de la Sierra is a small town in the Aragonese province of Teruel in Spain. On 1 January 2013 there were, according to official statistics, 29 still living here permanently inhabitants. The average age is well above the pension limit. But at least with a new tenant of the bar in town, there are two children in the village. Twice a week is a bread truck. Thus, the economic life of the village would be comprehensively presented. The Mayor has a day job as a doctor in Zaragoza. However, the number of inhabitants rises in the summer months, holidays and weekends through family visits significantly ( around 50 people ).

History

On the hill above the village was a Moorish castle, which has now been used before the demolition of Christian friars. Remains found in various houses of the community. Under King Alfonso II the area was Christianized.

Particularity

A pay - TV station in 2008 tried to make the place in the least populated region of Spain by an advertising campaign across the country as a destination for tourism known. Therefore, a homepage on the name: the place where nothing ever happens. He wants to provide, inter alia, the evidence of its scattering length.
