Miroslav Duben

Miroslav Duben ( born November 8, 1974 in Havlíčkův Brod, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Nitra in the Slovak Extraliga since January 2011.

Career

Miroslav Duben began his career as a hockey player with the HC Dukla Jihlava, for the first team, he made his debut in the Czech Extraliga in the 1997/98 season. For Dukla the defender also played after relegation in the 1998/99 season for three years until 2002 in the first second-rate league. From 1999 he was also already parallel to the HC Pardubice in the Extraliga on the ice. This he left for the season 2004/ 05 he spent at its domestic rivals HC Liberec. Then the links Sagittarius signed for HC Energie Karlovy Vary, with whom he was in the 2008 /09 season for the first time Czech champion and with which he could return the favor when HC Slavia Prague for the previous year 's defeat in the playoff finals.

For the season 2009/10 Duben was obliged by BK Mladá Boleslav. After one and a half years he left the team and joined in January 2011, the HK Nitra of the Slovakian Extraliga on.
