MNEK
MNEK, real name Uzoechi Osisioma Emenike (* 1994 in Lewisham, London ) is an English songwriter and producer.
Biography
With nine years Emenike began making music and at age 14 he had his first recording contract. 2011 he applied to Miranda Cooper by the production team Xenomania. His first success there was collaboration on the song All Fired Up by the Saturdays, which became a number - three hit in the UK. Other chart hits that originated with his participation, are home run by Misha B and Wanna Go by Maxsta. As a musician, he had the opportunity to cooperate with Rudimental or Sub Focus.
His biggest success was the collaboration with Duke Dumont and A * M * E at number -one hit Need U ( 100%). For his participation he even received a Grammy nomination.
Emenike also created remixes for artists such as Duran Duran, Tinie Tempah and Olly Murs, and also produces her own songs. In October, he signed a new record deal with EMI / Virgin. In Sound of 2014 his breakthrough was predicted as a musician within a year.
