Mohamed Ouaadi

Mohamed Ouaadi ( born January 1, 1969 in Tiznit ) is a French marathon runner of Moroccan origin.

He became a French citizen through his service in the Foreign Legion. In 1998 he became the national champion in the half marathon, finished at the World Half Marathon Championships in Uster 26th place in 1:02:29 hours and won the Reims Marathon in 2:09:54 h In it he came year 's marathon athletics world Championships in Seville on the 23th Place and was second at the Fukuoka Marathon in 2:07:55 h

In 2000, he won the Paris Marathon in 2:08:49 h and was eighth at the Olympic Games in Sydney.

A fourth place at the Chicago Marathon in 2001 followed in 2002 by a second at Lake Biwa and a fourth at the New York City Marathon. He was ninth in the Boston Marathon, fifth at the 2006 Beppu Oita Marathon 2005. He became French champion in the 10-km road race in 2002.

Mohamed Ouaadi is 1,72 m tall and weighs 56 kg. He is coached by Claude Minnie and starts for Olympique de Marseille Athlétisme.
