Molly Parker
Molly Parker ( born July 17, 1972 in Maple Ridge, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress.
Life and career
Molly Parker grew up in a commune in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. She has a younger brother. At the age of 3, she began ballet training, which she spent three years in the ballet company of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in the frame. At the age of 16, she finished her dance career in favor of acting. After her high school graduation, she spent three years studying acting at the Gastown Actors' Studio in Vancouver.
Parker began her acting career with roles in television series and other television productions, however, it was soon occupied in Canadian film productions in lead roles. In Europe, it is in particular since 2002 through her guest appearance as a female rabbi in the television series Six Feet Under - Died is over and then following supporting roles in American film productions such as the remake of The Wicker Man with Nicolas Cage known. In the Canadian Space Parker made mainly through challenging female roles, such as a necrophile in her film debut Kissed - kiss of death a name, but also showed her talent for comedy, for example, in the sitcom Twitch City.
Parker is married to the director and producer Matt Bissonnette, on 13 October 2006, she brought a son into the world.
