Money Train (film)

Money Train is an American action film from the year 1995.

Action

Two cops of New York City Transit Police, John and Charlie, who work undercover in the New York subway, get a new colleague, Grace Santiago, assigned, swirling the life of the adoptive brothers pretty messed up.

When Charlie duly seated due to his gambling debts in the terminal, John gives him his savings, so that Charlie can pay its debts. The money will be stolen in the subway. Charlie argues with his boss, Donald Patterson, who fires him. Shortly thereafter, John, committed to his brother, is also dismissed.

Charlie decides to rob a money train in the subway. John tries to stop his brother from the act, but it achieved only after this hijacked the money train.

Patterson tried to stop the train. He takes a collision of the money train and a passenger train not diverted underground in purchasing. John and Charlie jumping on the passenger just before the money train derailed. Patterson can search the Zugtrümmer. John and Charlie pretend as if they had just arrived when they heard of the Zugentführung. Patterson reminds them that they are no more police and they will be arrested. The just- arrived Santiago arrested Patterson instead because of the hazard of the lives of passengers.

John and Charlie leave the metro station. It turns out that Charlie hid some money bags under his clothes.

Reviews

Milan Pavlovic described the film in the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger of 13 January 1996 as boundless disappointment. The fishing Almanac film the film defects were accused of directing. Thomas Maier blades called the film in the Stuttgarter Zeitung of 11 January 1996 as illogical and the dialogues as stupid.

Jennifer Lopez was nominated for the NCLR Bravo Award.

  • The film turned out to be a flop at the box office and played only 35 million U.S. dollars at the U.S. box office with an estimated budget of 68 million U.S. dollars.
