Morten Østergaard

Morten Østergaard ( born June 17, 1976 in Aarhus ) is a Danish politician Det Radical Venstre (RV) and since February 3, 2014 Minister for Taxation in the Cabinet Thorning- Schmidt II

Life

The son of a cardiologist and a proofreader studied after visiting the Jellebakkeskolen, the Conval High School and the Risskov Centre Gymnasium 1997-2006 Political Science at Aarhus University. In addition, he took in 2001 to work as a marketing director at the publisher Dafolo A / S in Aarhus, and was employed there until 2005.

Østergaard occurred several times as a candidate of the RV for the Folketing. Between 2002 and 2005 he was vice- chairman of the party.

In the general election in 2005 he was elected a deputy in the Folketing and represented there until November 2007, the constituency Aarhus Amtskreds. During this time he was in 2006 and 2007 Member of the Board Vice Chairman of the RV Group in the Folketing. In the general election in 2007 he was re-elected and represents the constituency since Østjyllands Stork Reds.

From 3 October 2011 to February 3, 2014 he was research ministers in the Cabinet Thorning- Schmidt I.
