Morven Christie

Morven Christie ( b. 1979 in Helensburgh, Scotland ) is a Scottish actress.

Life and career

Morven Christie grew up in Glasgow and Aviemore. She studied acting at the Drama Centre London, which she completed in 2003. Her work as an actress refers to the areas of stage, film and television. She currently lives in North London.

In 2006, she played the role of Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) and the role of the Hero ( Much Ado About Nothing ) in plays for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Christie played Jane Bennet in the ITV miniseries Lost in Austen, a modern version of Austen's Pride and Prejudice. In 2009, she starred in the series Monday Monday one of the major roles and also in Young Victoria, she appeared in a supporting role.

2008 Christie was included in Sam Mendes drama group and appeared in Tom Stoppard's new version of The Cherry Orchard as Anya. In Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, which was performed at the Old Vic Theatre in London, she played the role of Perdita. Also at the National Theatre, she performed already.

From 2011, she was involved in several new television productions, including two new series of the BBC and the German - English two-parter Laconia
