Mriya Agro Holding

The Mriya Agro Holding is a Ukrainian agricultural producer, which was founded in 1992. The headquarters of the holding Nicosia, Cyprus. The headquarters of the operational business is located in the western Ukrainian village Wasylkiwzi in Rajon Husjatyn of Ternopil. Since 2008 the company is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

History

According to the company Mriya was founded in 1992 by Ivan and Klaudia Guta as a family farm. Were managed initially only 50 acres; to 1994 the area under cultivation increased to up to 150 acres.

In 1995, the potato production was modernized. Further, the first large-scale equipment were procured, with which 1996 now total acreage of 500 acres was farmed.

In 1998, the first silo was built with a capacity of 3,500 tons. A major contract for the supply of potatoes for the production of potato chips could be completed. The acreage had grown to up to 1,000 hectares.

In 2001 the company opened its own agricultural school. The fleet has been expanded. The acreage was now up to 3,000 hectares, increasing to 2005 then on up to 10,000 acres.

2008, the company shares were placed as GDRs on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange up to 20 %. The cultivated area had grown to 100,000 acres.

In 2009, Mriya his seed processing factory in operation, which has a capacity of 300 tons per day. At cereals and oil crops up to 477,000 tons were produced. By land takeovers, the acreage had grown to over 200,000 acres.

2011, the company founded the agricultural training center Ukrainian agricultural school which has, according to the school stating, inter alia, partnerships with the particular highly engaged in the Agricultural Sciences University of Hohenheim and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Cooperation Project German Agricultural Center in Ukraine ( DAZ ). The acreage was now almost 300,000 hectares.

The company managed by its own account agricultural land of a total of almost 300,000 hectares that are located within a radius of up to 150 km to the operational headquarters around.

Crops are wheat, canola, corn, sugar beets, potatoes, buckwheat, barley, peas, and soybeans.
