The Amadea is a cruise ship that was built in 1991 as Asuka for NYK Cruises in Japan and now runs trips for Phoenix.

It is 192 m long, 24.7 m wide and measured with 29,008 GT. The depth is 6.5 m. Is equipped the ship with 604 beds in 317 rooms, of which 122 with balconies. The crew consists of about 250 people.

History

After the ship from 1991 to 2006 was driven for NYK Cruises, Phoenix took over the ship travels from Bonn in 2006, and baptized it into Amadea. On March 12, 2006 his first trip to Phoenix began traveling from Yokohama.

Technology

The drive of the two controllable pitch propellers via reduction gear by two seven-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engines 7L 58/64 with a total output of 17,314 kW. The ship is equipped with stabilizers and features a 1,300 kW bow thruster. For the power supply, three diesel generators, each with 2,125 kW and two shaft generators, each with 2,125 kW.
