Music Man (company)

Music Man is a 1972 ( initially under the name Tri -Sonic ) based firm that manufactured electric guitars, bass and guitar amps. Here, Leo Fender introduced the instruments and Tom Walker, the amplifier ago. It was founded by Leo Fender (who is also founder of the Fender company is ). In the next few years, it became the famous Music Man Stingray Bass, the active sound offered as crucial and remains one of the most popular all bass at all. In addition, there is the Sterling, a slightly modified Stingray, oriented to the Fender Jazz Bass ( in moderation), the Bongo ( designed by a BMW - designer) and Silhouette ( mixture of guitar and bass).

1980 rose by Leo Fender dispute with the management officially because of health problems from Music Man. 1984 bought by the manufacturer Ernie Ball strings the company.

Under the name SUB Music Man produced until September 2006, a cheap instrument series from our own U.S. manufacturing. Copies of some instruments from the product family were made until 2008 in the Far East under licensing by the name of OLP ( Officially Licensed Product). Since 2010, the parent company of Ernie Ball marketed instruments from Asian production itself under the name "Sterling by Music Man."
