Muswellbrook Shire

Muswellbrook lies in the east of the state in the region around the Hunter River about 270 km north of the city of Sydney. The area includes 56 districts and towns, including Baerami, Baerami Creek, Castle Rock, Denman, Glen Gallic, Kayuga, Kerrabee, McCullys Gap, Muscle Creek, Muswellbrook, Sandy Hollow and Widden, Wybong. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Muswellbrook in the northeast of the LGA where about 10,000 inhabitants.
