My Kind of Christmas is the title of the third studio album by American pop singer Christina Aguilera. It only contains carols and was published in 2000.
Making of the album
Because The Christmas Song was recorded during the work on Aguilera's debut album, the other songs from My Kind of Christmas in mid-2000 had to be produced during a tour. The album was recorded at the same time as her Spanish language album Mi Reflejo. Both albums were released one month after the shooting. The album went platinum by the RIAA and sold in the United States over three million times.
The song Christmastime in mid November 2000 put the radio stations available and is still Aguilera single song that did not make it into the Billboard Hot 100. Merry Christmas, Baby in 2007 reached number 38 on the Billboard Hot Ringtones charts seven years after the publication in December. The song Climb Every Mountain, originally performed by Julie Andrews, is also included on the My Reflection DVD. The song These Are the Special Times is a cover of Celine Dion's song from her Christmas album These Are Special Times by 1998.
