Nabil Jeffri

Nabil Jeffri (born 24 October 1993 in Kuala Lumpur ) is a Malaysian race car driver. He started from 2010 to 2012 in the JK Racing Asia Series (formerly known as Formula BMW Pacific ). 2013 he starts in the German Formula 3 Cup.

Career

Jeffri won the 2009 title in his first kart In 2010 he drove in the Formula BMW Pacific for Eurasia and finished the season with 83 points after 15 races in fifth in the drivers' standings. On September 1, 2010 Jeffri led for the Formula 1 team Lotus Racing in the T127 on the Imperial War Museum Duxford runway an aerodynamics test. At 16 years and 312 days, he is the hitherto youngest test driver in Formula 1 history, sparking Nico Rosberg from, the F1 testing at the age of 17 years and 159 days for Williams FW24 2002. 2011 saw the launch of the JK Racing Asia Jeffri in Series, the successor series of the Formula BMW Pacific, for Mofaz. After a victory in the season opener was followed by further nine podium finishes in the further course of the year. Jeffri finished the season behind Lucas Auer and Afiq Ikhwan Yazid from third place overall. 2012 remained Jeffri in the JK Racing Asia Series and finished the season from eleven podium, including four victories, as runner-up. 2013 moved Jeffri in the German Formula 3 Cup, where it starts for Euro International.
