Nagarzê County

Nagarze ( Nakartse ) is a county in the district of Shannan in Tibet. It has an area of 1,054 square kilometers and according to the 1990 census, 29 512 inhabitants, of whom 29 410 Tibetans and 99 Han Chinese. ( Census 2000: 32 635 inhabitants. )

In Nagarze are the monastery and the lake Samding Yamzhog Yumcog.
