Namibian general election, 2009

The presidential elections in Namibia were held in 2009, together with the parliamentary elections on 27 and 28 November 2009. Namibians at sea and abroad were already allowed to choose on November 13, 2009. It was elected President of Namibia Hifikepunye Pohamba.

There were about a million Namibians called for election that could dispose to 997 fixed and mobile 2,213 polling stations her voice.

Election results

The official result was announced on 4 December 2009.
