Nate Fox

Nate Fox ( * July 14, 1977 in Plainfield, Illinois ) is a retired American professional basketball player who has played professionally in several European countries, including five seasons in the German Basketball Bundesliga. His engagements in Germany, however, ended prematurely each before the contract expires. In the Bayer Giants Leverkusen he was released from his contract because of a doping offense in the phantom of Braunschweig, he was suspended for reasons not publicly made ​​before the expiry date. At the end of his career he won in 2012 with Okapi Aalstar with the Belgian Cup his first national title after he had already won before with the BC Kalev Tallinn, the Estonian Double 2009.

Career

Fox studied at Boston College, and individual games for the Eagles in the NCAA. He then moved to the University of Maine and regulations after a proper break of one year, he was for two years a performer with the Black Bears with just under 30 minutes of play and 18 points per game. He then began his professional career at clubs in Portugal.

His first season in Germany for Leverkusen was 2002/ 03, in which Fox was able to achieve an average of 12.9 points and 7.2 rebounds. At the end of the season Fox was suspended without publication of the reasons of the New Yorker Phantoms in early May.

In February 2011, he plays for the rest of the season 2010/11 in the French LNB Pro A for Saint Thomas Basket from Le Havre. In the following season, he joined the Belgian vice-champion of Okapi Aalst, with which he in 2012 by winning the Belgian Cup competition celebrated their first national title.
