Nathan Beaulieu

Nathan Beaulieu ( born December 5, 1992 Strathroy, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since 2012 when the Canadiens de Montréal from the National Hockey League under contract and in parallel for their farm team, the Hamilton Bulldogs, playing in the American Hockey League.

Career

Beaulieu belonged from 2008 to the Saint John Sea Dogs squad after he was selected by the Sea Dogs in the QMJHL Midget Draft 2008 - 68th. Then went the defender in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, one of the top three Canadian junior leagues, on the ice. His biggest successes came in the 2010/11 season when he was the top scoring defender of his team with 45 points scorer and was nominated for the Trophée Michael Bossy. In the same year he won with the Saint John Sea Dogs to the Memorial Cup, where he was subsequently elected to the All- Star team.

NHL Entry Draft 2011 Beaulieu was drafted at # 17 out of the Canadiens de Montréal.

The following season he was able to improve its yield point again and was with 52 points scorer again the most successful defender of the Sea Dogs. The team succeeded as the best team in the regular season and in the play-offs the title defense in the QMJHL and Beaulieu was elected to the Second All-Star team in the league.

In May 2012, Beaulieu signed an initial three-year contract with the Canadiens de Montréal. In the 2012/13 season so he plays with the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Canadiens farm team of the American Hockey League. In the spring of 2013, however, he was appointed to the NHL squad and so came on March 30 for his NHL debut. Overall, it was six times for the Canadiens on the ice and gave it two templates.
