The National Assembly ( Milli Azerbaijani Məclis ) is the unicameral Parliament of Azerbaijan.

In the National Assembly, 125 members are elected in a grave electoral system for five years. In a majority voting system with ballot 100 members are elected, the remaining members are determined by proportional representation.

Composition

The last elections were held on November 7, 2010. The penultimate elections took place on November 6, 2005. The penultimate Parliament was made up as follows:

  • Popular Front of Azerbaijan ( Azərbaycan Xalq Cəbhəsi Partiyası )
  • Azerbaijani Democratic Party ( Azərbaycan Democrat Partiyası )
