National Progressive Front (Syria)

The National Progressive Front (Arabic الجبهة الوطنية التقدمية, DMG al - Ǧabha al - Waṭaniyya at- Taqaddumiyya, French National Front progressiste, abbreviation FNP ), also known as the National Progressive Front, an alliance of parties in Syria between the Baath Party, the Communist parties and several block parties. It consists in the country since 1972. A year later a National Progressive Front in Iraq was also formed there under the ruling Baath party.

Organization and members

The National Front of Syria ( FNP ) was founded in 1972, in 1966 a member of the Communist Party had been included in the government.
