Naughty but Nice (album)
Naughty but Nice ( German: " Naughty but nice " ) is the fourth studio album from German singer Sarah Connor, released on March 21, 2005 by X-Cell and Epic Records. It was in Germany at number 16 of the meistverkaufsten albums of the year 2005.
Background
For their fourth studio album Sarah Connor worked after maternity leave, she lodged her son Tyler, again with the proven producers Booya, Kay Denar and Rob Tyger together. From the producer Johnny Douglas, et al already worked with George Michael, Kylie Minogue and Tom Jones, the song You're the Kinda Man comes. The album is mainly characterized by up-tempo numbers. Compared to the previous albums Soul facets and also guitars come to the fore.
The first single, the ballad Living to Love You was coupled with the singer was able to place for the third time in a row at # 1 on the singles chart on 19 November 2004. Review
The reviews of Naughty but Nice was mixed. Matthias Reichel of CDStarts.de award five out of ten possible points and praises the singles. The album, however, functioning as a " collection of mostly second-rate pop, soul and R & B song ". Positive highlights Reichel out the song Living to Love You, which he describes as " soulful ballad in the early Mariah Carey - style ". He also praises the songs From Zero to Hero and You're the Kinda Man. Compared to the previous album Key to My Soul 's work leaves a better impression and the quality curve show up again.
Michael Shoe Laut.de is only one of five possible points. He describes the album as uninspired. Many things you already know from previous albums Connors. The work offers " 15 prepared for the ringtone industry Träller numbers" and said the album was " lower classes Music for the village disco around the corner".
