Navotas

Navotas City, Tagalog: Lungsod ng Navotas, is a Filipino Component City in the north of the capital region Metro Manila. According to the census of 2010 Navotas City had 249 131 inhabitants living in 14 barangays. Classified as a congregation of the second income class in the Philippines and as a highly urbanized.

Geography

Navotas City `s neighboring municipalities are Malabon City in the east, Obando in the north, Caloocan City in the southeast and Manila in the south. The city stretches along the east coast of Manila Bay. The topography of the city is characterized by the flat land in the southeast of the central Luzon plain. This is traversed by many navigable channels.
