Nemanja Aleksandrov
Nemanja Aleksandrov ( Serbian Cyrillic Немања Александров; born April 10, 1987 in Belgrade, SR Serbia) is a Serbian professional basketball player. Aleksandrov played as a professional so far in his home country, Slovenia, Italy, Belgium and briefly in Spain. Since the Basketball Bundesliga 2013/14 he played in Germany for the first division EWE Baskets Oldenburg.
Career
Aleksandrov had as a young player hopeful career start when he received the "Most Valuable Player " of the tournament and top scorer internal team of the Serbian Montenegrin Youth National Team U16 European Champion in 2003. In the following season 2003/ 04 he made his debut for the first time in the first men's team of his former club FMP Železnik from his hometown. The team won at the end of the season for the first time the ABA league, which was repeated two years later in 2006. In the 2010/11 season Aleksandrov played in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A for Scavolini Pesaro. The team missed out on the tenth round of the main table a place in the play-offs for the championship. Aleksandrov, however, had again to struggle with knee injuries, after he had suffered both each in his final year at the FMP Železnik as well as Red Star a torn ACL. So he got in the season 2011/12 no contract and set of championship games completely.
