Geographical location

Neustetten is located in Upper Gaeu northeast of the Neckar run.

Neighboring communities

The denunciation of Neustetten is almost completely surrounded by the city of Rottenburg, only a small portion of the adjacent community Bondorf, Böblingen, to Neustetten to.

Community structure

The municipality comprises the former municipalities Nellingsheim, Remmingsheim and Wolfenhausen. In the territory of the former municipality Nellingsheim are Nellingsheim the village and the homestead built in 1838, brick hut. In the territory of the former municipality Remmingsheim are Remmingsheim the village, the homestead wine farms in 1971 named relocated farms, and the house Bronnenmühle, which was first mentioned in 1312. History

The name is based on a lost settlement called " Stetten " on the Mountian Wolf Stockhausen.

Neustetten was founded on December 1, 1971 as part of local government reform by the merger of the municipalities Nellingsheim, Remmingsheim and Wolfenhausen.

Mayor

The mayor is elected for a term of eight years. The current term of office of Gunter Schmid ends 2020.

Coat of arms

The white rafters comes from the Nellingsheimer crest. The black bar oath was to be found in both the Wolf Hausener and in Remmingsheimer coat of arms and is due to the staff of the court Remmingsheimer mayor, whose " rod court " for Wolfenhausen and Eckenweiler ( the suburb of Rottenburg today ) was responsible. The stars were taken from the coat of arms Remmingsheimer and symbolize the three districts.

Partnerships

In the course of the event 20 years Neustetten closed on 30 November 1991 Remmingsheim the Saxon community Oberbobritzsch with Neustetten a partnership. This is continued with the community Bobritzsch - Hilber village, which emerged from two municipal mergers.

Museum
