NGC 4911

NGC 4911 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Coma Berenices which about 356 million light- years away from Earth. Nearby there is another galaxy, NGC 4911A for which the number has been assigned. The galaxy NGC 4911 was discovered on 11 April 1785 by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
