NGC 5005

NGC 5005 is a spiral galaxy, which is about 40 million light -years away from Earth. It is a relatively bright galaxy of type Sb in the periphery of the Virgo cluster of galaxies. They, together with NGC 5033 is a pair that influenced each weak. NGC 5005 was discovered on May 1, 1785 by William Herschel.
