Nicolas Devilder

Nicolas Devilder ( born March 25, 1980 in Dax, Landes ) is a French tennis player.

Life and career

Devilder has so far been primarily successful on the Challenger Tour. Between 2005 and 2008 he won nine singles titles. 2005 and 2010 also were added two titles in doubles. On the ATP World Tour, he was able to achieve more success in the singles, while in a double even able to secure a title itself. In 2008 he won at the side of Paul -Henri Mathieu the tournament in Bucharest against the Poles Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski. At the French Open in 2012, he reached the third round in the individual, in which he failed because of the eventual finalists Novak Djokovic. In double Devilder never got beyond the second round. Devilder took it in both disciplines in all four Grand Slams.
