Paul-Henri Mathieu

Paul -Henri Mathieu ( born January 12, 1982 in Strasbourg ) is a French tennis player.

Career

He won the 2002 ATP tournaments in Lyon and Moscow, and in 2003 reached the final in Palermo.

From 1997 to 2000 Mathieu trained at the Tennis Academy of Nick Bollettieri in Florida. In 2000, he won the junior competition of the French Open, in the final, he defeated Tommy Robredo of Spain's. He was named ATP Newcomer of the Year 2002. In 2007 he won the clay court tournaments in Casablanca and Gstaad.
