Open Sud de France

The ATP tournament of Montpellier (official name: Open Sud de France) is a tennis tournament which is held by the ATP in the ATP World Tour in Montpellier, France. It is a tournament of the ATP World Tour 250 series and will be held in the multipurpose complex ARENA on hard court in the hall.

The tournament has existed since 1987, but was held until 2009 in Lyon as the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon at the Palais des Sports de Gerland. By 2010, the event was held in the fall, but were moved to the appointment on the basis of changes in the tour schedule on late January / early February; therefore no tournament in Montpellier was held during the 2011 season.

Record winner is Pete Sampras, who was able to triumph here three times. In the doubles are the most successful player Michaël Llodra Andy Ram and Jakob Hlasek with three titles.
