Sandon Stolle

Sandon Stolle ( born July 13, 1970 in Sydney ) is an Australian former tennis player.

Career

He could in his career win 22 titles in doubles competitions and reach 29 more double finals. His greatest achievement was the triumph at the U.S. Open in 1998 at the site of Cyril Suk. In addition, he was able to reach three more Grand Slam finals at the U.S. Open in 1995 and at the 2000 French Open and Wimbledon, he lost all but on the side of different partners against the duo Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde. In individual he reached his only playoff in 1996 in Nottingham, where he had to give but also beaten.
