Raven Klaasen

Raven Klaasen ( born October 16, 1982 in King William 's Town ) is a South African tennis player who specializes in doubles.

Career

Klaasen has so far won nine doubles titles on the Challenger Tour. In the years 2011 and 2012, he won three of them with his partner John Paul Fruttero, with whom he also was during this period in five other finals. In 2013 he scored with partner Johan Brunström his first two doubles titles on the ATP Tour, which he had another title with his new partner Eric Butorac follow. With this he could surprise at the Australian Open in 2014, when the two on the way to the final, inter alia, set at position one favorite Bob and Mike Bryan defeated. In the final they lost Robert Lindstedt and Łukasz Kubot 3:6 and 3:6.

Klaasen is a member of the South African Davis Cup team since 2009.
