Robert Farah Maksoud

Robert Farah ( born January 20, 1987 in Montreal, Canada) is a Colombian tennis player.

Career

Farah has so far achieved his greatest successes, especially in doubles. Along with his compatriot Juan Sebastian Cabal he could win on the Challenger Tour 2011 a total of six tracks, twice as many as last year. On ATP level, the knockout phase of Wimbledon since his best result. They defeated in the first round, which was played for bad weather conditions, only two instead of the usual three winning sets, at position 4 set Rohan Bopanna and Aisam -ul- Haq Qureshi in a three hour long marathon match with 21:19 in the third sentence.

In the individual he was able to win a tournament, 2010 in Bogotá on Challenger level. He also reached the final of the Challenger tournament in Aguascalientes, where they lost against Cabal. Farah won at the Pan American Games in 2011, both in single as well as double Cabal with the gold medal.

Since 2010 Farah plays for the Colombian Davis Cup team.
