Niklas Backman Alexander ( born November 13, 1988 in Västerås) is a Swedish football player. The defender made his debut in 2011 in the Swedish national team.
Career
Backman began playing football at Skiljebo SK in his hometown. For the club he made his debut as a junior player in the team competition and rose with her on into the third-class Division 1. There he excelled in the 2007, although the club relegated straight back. Then courted by several higher-class clubs he joined the second division Movers Väsby United in the Superettan to. In his debut season he stood in all 30 games of the season in the starting lineup and helped the club to the league table as ninth. Having trained at the pre-season to the Premiership season 2009 the cooperation partner AIK, the club brought him in the summer of the year on loan in the Erstligakader. While the club won the domestic double national champion and cup he remained without bet for AIK.
