Ning'an

The city Ning'an (宁安市, Ning'an Shì ) is a county-level city in the prefecture-level city of Mudanjiang to the southeast of Heilongjiang province in the People's Republic of China. It has an area of ​​7856 km ² and has 440,000 inhabitants ( 2004).

The site Shangjing Longquanfu, the Shangjing capital of Bohai Empire ( Balhae ) ( Bohaiguo Shangjing Longquanfu Yizhi渤海 国 上京 龙泉 府 遗址), since 1961 is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 1-158 ). It is located in the large village Bohai.
