Niño Josele

Niño Yosele ( born April 24, 1974 in Almeria, Autonomous Region of Andalusia as Juan José Heredia ) is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and is considered a great talent: Even Chick Corea is one of his fans. He is dedicated to the traditional flamenco, which he enriched style with elements of jazz. His inspiration he refers also from the classical and especially the twelve-tone music. He belongs to the Roma ethnic group.

Cooperation

He has V.A. with flamenco musicians such as Paco de Lucia, Pepe de Lucía, Camarón de la Isla, his inseparable companions El Cigala, Jorge Pardo, Chocolate, Tomatito, Duquende, Montse Cortés, Remedios Amaya and Enrique Morente and the jazz musicians Jerry González and Marc Johnson worked as well as some with representatives of pop music such as Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, Andrés Calamaro, Joan Manuel Serrat and Elton John. Also in the fado genre he has already romped in collaboration with María Berasarte.

Career

Niño Yosele learned to play the guitar from his father, who was a guitarist and taught him the first steps on the guitar. At 22 he won the competition of young performers on the Flamenco Biennial in Seville.
