No Time to Chill

No Time to Chill (Eng. about " No time to rest " ) is the fifth studio album by the German techno band Scooter. It was released on 20 July 1998 and contains, like almost every scooter album, twelve titles. With the album managed the group for the first and only time up to the top of the album chart in Finland. However, taken into account are also only Germany, where it abolished the plate on the fourth rank, which represented the second best position so far of a scooter album in Germany, Austria with rank 27, Switzerland with position 20 and Sweden with 16th place, as well as the UK.

The album was in the loop, D.C. Studios 1 and 2 produced in Hamburg. Executive producers were the scooters members Axel Coon and Rick J. Jordan, the lyrics to the songs wrote extensively HP Baxxter.

The cover was designed by Marc Schilkowski, who was also responsible for the design of further Scooter productions. The pictures to come from Hamburg Holger Roschlaub. For the backing vocals, the singer Nikk was responsible, an additional guitar was played by Helge Vogt.

Music

The album contains mostly borrowed from the Hard House, Trance, Downtempo and Electro. As on most scooters albums are many cover versions and adaptations of well-known tunes here. So How Much Is The Fish includes the traditional Breton song Son ar ghistr that dagen long the Dutch bots group became known in 1976 under the title Zeven, while it is generally sung in Germany than what we want to drink. For We Are The Greatest Scooter sampelten a melody from the song Street Dance, which was published in 1982 by the U.S. rap project Break Machine, as well as the text to Do not Stop The Rock, a 1985 published song of the rap group Freestyle.

With I Was Made for Lovin 'You Scooter who covered one of the most famous songs of the American rock band KISS from their 1979 album Dynasty. It was written by Paul Stanley, Desmond Child and Vini Poncia. And just like on Our Happy Hardcore with rebel yell is also here with Eyes Without A Face Billy Idol cover a while, also from the album Rebel Yell. The title refers to the French horror classic from director Georges Franju 1960, based on a novel by Jean Redon.

Expecting More From Ratty called in German " Ratty is more to come ." To play Scooter on their side project Ratty, with whom she brought out two singles from 2000.

How Much Is the Fish?

The single with the traditional Breton tune appeared on 1 June 1998. Decorated by Marc Schilkowski cover shows a lying on a surface fish. On the back cover three fish can be seen lying on a newspaper, are displayed in the scooter. The newspaper lies on a chair, the same abbröselnde color as the area from the front cover .. Very successful, the single was in Belgium, where she took first place in the charts, as well as in Finland, where they took second place. In the video clip to How Much Is The Fish Scooter play the song on the one hand in front of a large screen, on the other hand, in a hall during a concert, which will appear on this screen. The next interspersed action takes place in a dark, rainy backyard, where a number of young men playing football. Then occurs a motorcycle gang who snatches the purse of a young woman. We Are The Greatest / I Was Made For Lovin 'You

The single was released on 1 October 1998 as a double A- single. Both for We Are The Greatest and for I Was Made For Lovin 'You own music video is rotated. The single can be commercially but not prevail: Germany ranked 26th in Austria 36th place

The video for We Are The Greatest plays in a futuristic warehouse. The three scooters members are dressed in black in three cages and are controlled from the rear using keyboards. In front of them punched a white-clad crowd and performs breakdance deposits.

In the video clip to I Was Made For Lovin 'You ask yourself Scooter with electric guitar, drums, keyboard and Marshall amplifiers as a rock group dar. HP Baxxter sings with the text a woman who wanders in a computer-animated environment.

Call Me Mañana

The single was released on 8 January 1999. The piece contains a known melody passage from James Brown is dead by the Dutch Dance Project LA Style, written by Denzil Slemming about 1991. The album version does not contain this sample. In the charts, the single mixed mainly in Scandinavia with the front, where with Rank 6 in Sweden and 7th in Finland veritable top ten successes were to book. In Germany, the single occupied position 16 in Austria ranked 24th and 25th place in Switzerland

In the video clip itself Scooter will be presented as a Western performer.
