Noah Beery, Sr.
Noah Nicholas Beery ( born January 17, 1884 in Kansas City, USA, † April 1, 1946 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.
Life
Beery was in 1884 in Kansas City (Missouri ) born. In 1898, he began to act in theater and played from 1905 on Broadway. In 1915 he followed his brother Wallace Beery to Hollywood to take part in movies. Beery was usually cast as a villain, and made the breakthrough with the film The Mark of Zorro. 1930 his career reached its peak. In the following years he played mostly small roles.
Like his brother Wallace (1885-1949) was his son Noah Beery Jr. (1913-1994) worked as an actor.
