The Nome Airport ( IATA: OME; ICAO: PAOM ) is operated by the state, publicly-used airport, which is located 2 km west from the city center Nomes.
According to the FAA, the airport recorded 56 658 passengers.
The state of Alaska also operates the Nome City Field north of town.
History
During World War II, the airport was used as a military base. Under the name of Marks Army Airfield used the civilian and military airport the same infrastructure.
